Chełmno - Grudziądz - Świecie
The route begins in the city of lovers, in the city park. The beginning of the route leads us steeply downhill towards the main, busy road, but we continue straight ahead. For a while, we'll ride on a gravel bike path, which soon turns into a paved road. Eventually, we'll reach Grudziądz, crossing a lightly trafficked paved road. Reaching the city limits, we join a bike path that leads us through residential areas, a viewpoint, and finally to the Old Town, which is well worth a visit. On the return journey, we cross a steel bridge; caution is required, as the passage is quite narrow. Then, for a while, we'll be accompanied by an embankment on the left, the end of which means a demanding climb awaits us. Entering Świecie, we pass the Teutonic Castle and the Old Fara (Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa and St. Stanislaus). Finally, we have to cross the bridge and the driveway leading to the Old Town.
This route is for intermediate riders, and is longer and mostly paved.
Preferred bike: road, gravel, trekking
