Ciechocinek – The January Uprising

A mural commemorating the 160th anniversary of the January Uprising has been created on the wall of a block of flats at 4 Broniewskiego Street. The design by Dominika Sikorska and her team is a tribute to the heroes of the past, such as the salt workers and the outstanding mayor Wojciech Piaskowski. The image is inspired by Artur Grottger's famous drawing entitled "The Battle." The painting combines historical symbolism with a modern form. Thanks to cooperation with a local association, the artist has realized her dream of working in her hometown, creating a work that delights and inspires residents and tourists alike.
