Radzyń Chełmiński is intriguing from afar with the ruins of a Teutonic castle. The important role it played in the Teutonic Order's state can be seen in the fact that after the defeat on the fields of Grunwald, it was here that the Grand Steward of Königsberg, George von Wirsberg, deposited a significant part of the Order's treasury, including the personal silver of Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen. Today's ruins are only a reminder of the former glory of the Teutonic stronghold, but its former power can still be seen in the surviving walls. It is worth visiting the castle underground and climbing to the top of the castle tower. While visiting, pay attention to the secret signs carved into the wall. This is a souvenir of the episodes of the cult TV series "Pan Samochodzik i Templariusze", which were filmed at the castle.
