The route begins on the outskirts of Toruń, and the first few kilometers are covered on a comfortable bike path. Soon, we reach an asphalt road with a shoulder, which runs close to the highway. In Otłoczyn, near the forest parking lot, there is a monument commemorating the railway disaster – it's worth stopping for a moment and paying tribute to the victims of that tragedy. We then reach the main intersection in Odolion, where we turn onto less busy roads leading to Służewo. In this town, there is an unusual piano-shaped monument dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin. The return route passes through the military training ground, where you can see the remains of a T-72 tank. It's worth remembering that the route through the training ground is not always accessible, so it's worth checking availability before setting off on the website www.csaiu.wp.mil.pl.
