Inowrocław

Places
The city's showpiece is the Solankowy Park. When you enter it, you cross the border between the daily rhythm of the city and the green zone, where time is measured by deep breaths and unhurried walking. The characteristic turrets standing guard over the Inowrocław graduation tower invite you to the zone of blissful rest. Its shape is formed by two interconnected polygons around which a saline spray floats. Take a deep breath and feel the health-giving power of the local air. Visit the Pump Room and taste the mineral water "Inowrocławianka" and the medicinal "Jadwiga". Experience a bit of exoticism in the local palm house and folklore in the stylized Kuyavian Cottage. While strolling through the town, you will meet Queen Jadwiga, the patron saint of the town. Pay attention to the Holy Virgin Mary's  Romanesque church. It is part of the Piast Route. The reliefs on its walls depicting the faces of humans, demons and animals have been a source of conjecture and legend for years. Inowrocław nazywany jest „miastem na soli”. The permanent salt exhibition, located in the basement of the Municipal Theatre, will take you to the Inowrocław salt mine. The interiors lined with real rock salt, mining equipment and tools remind us of the Solno mine which operated here many years ago.
