The Franciscan Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Radziejów

The Franciscan Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Radziejów is a historic temple from the 14th century, originally built by King Casimir the Great for the Franciscan order. Currently, it serves as a parish church and is one of the main religious sites in the town. The interior of the church combines late Renaissance, Baroque, and Rococo elements. Among the valuable monuments are: a pulpit from around 1600, a Baroque crucifix from the 17th/18th century, an early Baroque monstrance, and a painting of Our Lady of Perpetual Help from around 1898. In 2014, the church was established as a Marian sanctuary. In 2015, the miraculous painting of Our Lady of Perpetual Help was crowned.
