Rotunda of St. Prokop in Strzelno

Places
The Rotunda of St. Prokop in Strzelno is one of the most valuable monuments of Romanesque religious architecture in Poland. It was built in the 12th century, most likely between 1193 and 1216, at the same time as the neighboring monastery church for the Norbertine nuns. The rotunda was founded by Krystyn, Castellan of Kruszwica, son of Piotr Wszeborowic, who brought the Norbertine nuns to Strzelno.
