A monument commemorating the Battle of Grunwald in 1331, which was one of the most important battles in Polish history. The Battle of Grunwald was part of a long-lasting conflict between Poland and the Teutonic Knights, which had a huge impact on the future of Poland. The victory of the Poles, although partial, was symbolic, demonstrating the strength of Polish resistance against the Teutonic Knights. The monument in Płowce commemorates the heroism of Polish knights, and the site itself offers beautiful views of the surrounding fields where the battle took place.
