The parish church of St. Nicholas in Inowrocław is a late Gothic temple whose history dates back to the 13th century. The first wooden church was probably built in the first half of the 13th century, funded by Kazimierz Kondratowicz, Duke of Kujawy. The current brick building was erected after 1431 and has served as the parish church for the town of Inowrocław since the 16th century. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt many times, with the 15th-century Teutonic invasions causing the most damage.
