Have you ever dreamed of traveling back in time while walking down the streets of a city? Now you have the chance to experience it by visiting Grudziądz and admiring the amazing mural by Magdalena Biernat, inspired by Jan Matejko's work "Rozmowa z Bogiem" (Conversation with God), whichwas created by the renowned Grudziądz artist Marek Fijałkowski, catches the eye and delights with its grandeur. Located on Astronomy Lovers' Square, the mural fits perfectly into the atmosphere of the place, which pays tribute to one of the greatest minds in history - Nicolaus Copernicus. Grudziądz could not do without such a work, especially since Copernicus visited the city and it was here that he presented his monetary theory, which still fascinates economists today. The mural features a veduta, or a fragment of the historic cityscape with the now defunct Toruń Gate, and a heliocentric system floating in the sky, taken from the 1696 antique book Allgemeine Welt-Beschreibung, symbolizing Copernicus' groundbreaking discovery. This is a colorful story about the rich history and culture of this place.
