Sępólno Krajeńskie – Krajeńska Hospitality

When strolling along the promenade by the lake in Sępólno Krajeńskie and admiring the blue water picturesquely surrounded by greenery, be sure to look up at the buildings, where you will find a charming mural that will delight every lover of art and regional tradition. The work depicts two girls in wreaths and white dresses baking bread in the bosom of nature. Their dresses feature elements of Krajeński embroidery, which gives the composition a local character. Next to them, on a white tablecloth, lie loaves of freshly baked bread. The idea for the project came from Danka Zalewska, and it was created by Izabela Kucharska and artists from Live Media Crew in Warsaw. The mural symbolizes Krajna's hospitality and warmth, welcoming guests with bread and salt.
