  • Address: Młyńska 20, Szubin
The mural in Szubin is an interesting work of art that adorns the urban space, attracting attention with its aesthetics and theme. The graphic design was created by artist Paweł Pietroń. The folk band visible on the mural was based on a sculpture by Piotr Woliński, a sculptor from Kcynia. The mural was painted by Rudi Rzepka, a graffiti artist from Wągrowiec. The mural depicts a band in characteristic Pałuckie costumes. The men wear hats called ryjoki, white shirts and black or navy blue żupany, which are a type of long sleeveless jacket. The outfits are complemented by belts and dark or white trousers tucked into high black boots. The elegant knee-high boots, called kropami or kropusami, are corrugated above the ankle, and their length indicates the elegance of the owner.
