Another interesting mural created as part of the Civic Budget is a story about the city's architecture... Dominika Dziedzina's large-format work presents the most interesting buildings in Świecie – both those that still exist and those that have unfortunately disappeared from the landscape. Among the immortalized monuments, you will find the majestic Teutonic castle, the old parish church, as well as the now non-existent synagogue on Klasztorna Street, the windmill that stood on the site of the current 800-lecia housing estate until 1963, and the Evangelical church. Klasztorna Street, a windmill that stood on the site of the current 800-lecia housing estate until 1963, an Evangelical church standing on the market square of old Świecie before the town was moved to its present location in the 19th century, mills in Przechowo and a "small monastery". Each element tells a unique story of the town, creating an amazing mosaic of the past and the present. The mural is not just decoration—it is also an illustrated guide to the rich history of Świecie, allowing you to discover the places that shaped this town.
