Włocławek – The essence of the city

The mural entitled "Essence of the City" is the work of two artists: Dawid Celka, who designed the graphics, and Tomasz Smieszkoł, who was responsible for its execution. The image depicts the famous Włocławek faience—a beautiful, decorated cup. Instead of a drink, the cup shows a picturesque outline of the city of Włocławek with its characteristic buildings, which gives the work a symbolic meaning. The mural is a tribute to the local ceramic tradition, connecting the past with the present and emphasizing the unique identity of Włocławek, highlighted by the inscription: "Włocławek faience – The essence of the city since 1873."
