At the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, Jan Orzelski, the former owner of Runowo Krajeńskie, built a Renaissance manor house here, surrounded by a picturesque park. To this day, on one of the walls, a stone foundation slab has been preserved, with the year 1595 written on it. The estate, brought as a dowry by Jan's daughter, Izabela, then passed into the hands of the Działyński family. Here, outside Kórnik, Teofila Szołdrska-Potulicka née Działyńska, owner of the Kórnik castle, known as the "White Lady", spent her time. Unfortunately, history and fate did not spare the palace. It was destroyed by German troops in 1945. Today we can admire its mysterious ruins rising near Lake Runowskie . And all this surrounded by the Krajeński Landscape Park…
