"Kamienny Dom" boulder

In the Pałuki forest, between the villages of Annowo and Szczepankowo, a large boulder stands alone. This is not an ordinary boulder, it is a mysterious Stone House (“Kamienny Dom”). Well, a long time ago there was an evil sorcerer's castle here. He lured children lost in the forest and turned them into stone statues. Once upon a time, a boy wandered here looking for his missing siblings. He recognized his brothers in the fossilized forms. He was not deceived by the magician. He outwitted him and the spell lost its power. All the children were saved, and the curse turned against the sorcerer. His castle turned into a huge boulder, and he himself rested forever, trapped inside it. This is what the legend says... In fact, it is a post-glacial erratic boulder, a monument of inanimate nature, with impressive dimensions: 13 m in circumference and over 3 m in height.
