Wilhelm's Hill

Places
Wilhelm's Hill is the second highest (171.06 m above sea level) natural hill in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship (after Czarna Góra, 188 m above sea level, located in the Obkaskie Mountains ). From here the view stretches to the very end of the horizon. But it wasn't always like this. In the past, this area was covered with an old oak forest. The situation changed drastically in 2017, when a storm hit the Tuchola Forest, causing unprecedented damage. Thousands of hectares of forests ceased to exist in one night. The trees on the hill looked like broken matches, but "thanks" to it, a vast view appeared. Today, Wilhelm's Hill is a viewpoint with a panoramic view of the Tuchola Forest and Krajna . Climbing the hill is not difficult ???? . You can get almost halfway to the top by car. It's best to go there from Adamków. There are three marked trails leading to the peak: Kasztelański, Ptasi and Wyczółkowskiego.
