Wenecja – Narrow Gauge Railway Museum
The Narrow Gauge Railway Museum is one of the largest open-air museums of historic steam locomotives and traction vehicles with a gauge of 600 mm in Europe. You will see here, among others: 17 steam locomotives (the oldest dates back to 1899!), passenger and freight wagons, hand and motor handcars and a unique postal wagon. The whole is complemented by the necessary railway infrastructure: a historic waiting room, a guard's booth, tracks with turnouts and switches, a water crane used to replenish water in the locomotive boilers and a turntable enabling the change of direction of travel. Railway vertigo!
Wenecja – ruins of the Venetian Devil's castle
Right next to the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum there are the ruins of the 14th-century castle of Mikołaj Nałęcz, called the Bloody Devil of Wenecja (Venice). What did he deserve such a dark nickname? By the ruthlessness and severity of his judgments - at least that's what the legend says. Mysterious ruins attract thrill seekers. At night, around the castle, you can hear the moans of the Devil himself, who, during a loud party, was struck by lightning and lost his life, the castle and the treasures stored in it. Supposedly they are still there... Anyone interested can look for them!
