Tuchola is considered the capital of Bory Tucholskie (Tuchola Forest) - a land of pine forests, meandering rivers and wild wilderness. This region is also home to the rich Borowiak culture, reflected in local architecture, cuisine and crafts. In the Tuchola Forest Museum you will take a closer look at the former life of the Borowiak’s families. You will see the interior of a typical Borowice cottage, traditional clothes, equipment and everyday tools that once helped residents in their everyday activities. You will also learn about the rich fauna and flora of the Tuchola Forest, and by looking at the model of medieval Tuchola you will discover the history of one of the oldest cities in Pomerania.
