Tleń

This is one of the most popular summer resorts in the Tuchola Forest. Picturesquely situated among forests, on Lake Mukrza and the Wda River, Tleń attracts lovers of active recreation. Wda, meandering among green forests, is a lowland river with a mountain character, loved by kayakers. There are also numerous routes for lovers of hiking and cycling. It is worth going to the Żurski Reservoir. It is an artificial reservoir created on the Wda River as a result of the construction of a hydroelectric power plant in Żur. A refuge for beavers, otters and waterfowl. You can spot a kingfisher in the steep, cliff-like slopes. Among the islands emerging from the water, you will see the picturesque Madeira Island.
