Brda and the "Piekło" nature reserve

Places
The charms of the Brda River are best admired from a kayak. The Brda is one of the most attractive rivers in Poland in terms of landscape and is considered one of the most interesting kayaking routes in the country and even in Europe. It is characterized by a winding course, creating numerous bends. An extremely picturesque section of the river is the "Piekło" nature reserve, located in the "Brda River Valley" nature reserve. Numerous boulders protruding above the water and steep banks give the river a mountainous character, making this place particularly attractive for kayakers. It is the boulders lying in the river's current, creating numerous rapids and whirlpools on the river, that gave the area its name. They used to be an inconvenience for rafters floating timber along this route, which is why they called this place "hell". Hikers can also admire the beautiful landscape of the Brda Valley and the "Piekło" nature reserve itself. In this case, it is best to go to... heaven. Don't worry, it's just the name of the viewpoint ????
