This is the first open-air museum in Poland dedicated to the Dutch settlement . Mennonites appeared in Wielka Nieszawka at the beginning of the 17th century, and until the end of World War II it was one of the main centers of life of this community.
In the Olenderski Ethnographic Park, a fragment of the cultural landscape of a Vistula village from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries was recreated. Among arable fields, meadows and orchards you will find 3 farmsteads consisting of historic residential and farm buildings. The 18th and 19th century structures were moved from the Lower Vistula Valley and are the most valuable examples of architecture typical of Olender settlements, preserved to this day .
