Information

  • Address: Majdany, 87-100 Toruń
The viewpoint located on the Vistula River’s island, called "Kępa Bazarowa", delights with a straight from the "postcard" view of the Toruń Old Town. The extraordinary panorama of the city looks particularly impressive in the evening, in the glow of night illumination. "Kępa Bazarowa" is also a nature reserve, protecting a riparian forest with monumental specimens of poplars and willows. This place also took an important part in local history. In 1411, King Władysław Jagiełło concluded there the first peace treaty  called “The 1st Peace of Toruń” with the Teutonic Knights.
