Koronowo

Places
Open spaces and friendly wind in the sails. Surrounded by forest, the waters of the Koronowo Reservoir are a real paradise for watermen. Secluded bays, picturesque islands and wild shores attract sailing enthusiasts and encourage them to take to the water. Sails fluttering in the wind are a permanent feature of the landscape. Cyclists and hikers will be enchanted by the picturesquely situated, more than 100-year-old, highest narrow-gauge railway bridge in Europe. The steel, openwork construction rises 18 m above the Brda river. It offers a beautiful view of the Brda valley and the lazily flowing river. Grabina Park, whose name comes from the hornbeam forests growing on the hills around the town, is an ideal place for walking trips. From here you can see the meandering Brda River and the town lying at its foot.
