The nearly 4 km long tourist route "Na bindugę" is located in the Długi Most Forest District. The beginning of the route runs along the former narrow-gauge railway embankment, along water reservoirs called "Kislager", which were created after a former excavation where aggregate was extracted at the end of the 19th century. Today, beavers have settled in their waters and you can see their feeding traces on the trunks of trees and shrubs. When you reach the dam on the stream that drains excess water from the "Kislagers" to the Drwęca River, you will see the alder forests there. Passing the stream and continuing through the old pine trees, you will reach the edge of the forest, from where there is a beautiful panorama of the Drwęca valley. You are at your destination. You have reached the old binduga. Binduga is a place on the river, used for storing and preparing wood for floating. In the post-war years, wood was floated from here to sawmills in Brodnica, Golub-Dobrzyń and Toruń. In ancient times, between the 10th and 13th centuries, there was an early medieval stronghold here. Today, this place offers an amazing view of the Drwęca valley at its confluence with Brynica. Before you head back, stop and observe the numerous waterfowl living here.
