Unisław is one of the largest villages in Poland. The Copernicus Astro Base, located next to the school in Unisław, refers to Nicolaus Copernicus, or more precisely to his work and his practice of astronomy. In Unisław, you cannot miss the Church of St. Bartholomew, dating back to the end of the 13th century, which is one of the oldest churches in the Chełmno Land. It is also worth visiting Castle Hill, where a Teutonic castle was located in the Middle Ages, first as the seat of the commander and later as the seat of the procurator of the order. It was destroyed during the Thirteen Years' War (1454-1466) and was never rebuilt. The foundations of the building were discovered in 2017 during archaeological works. The bicycle routes running through Unisław are also an interesting tourist attraction, including a 22 km route from Toruń, which runs largely along the route of a former railway line.
