From the national road between Brodnica and Lidzbark, in the village of Grążawy, opposite the WIGOR” Day Care Centre “, turn left. The stopping point is behind the railway crossing. Leave the car here and follow the forest path on foot or by bike. At the fork keep to the left of the road. This will lead you to a signpost which marks the start of the hiking trail "Na bindugę".
The road starts on the former embankment of the narrow-gauge railway, along the water reservoirs called "Kislager". They were created after a former pit where aggregate was extracted at the end of the 19th century. Today, their waters are a refuge for beavers, whose feeding traces can be seen in the form of felled trees. Further on, the path goes through an old pine forest, on the edge of which there is a picturesque panorama of the Drwęca valley. The trail ends at a place comprising an old binduga, an early medieval stronghold and an extremely picturesque area where the Brynica River flows into the Drwęca River. Binduga is an area by the river where wood for floating and rafting was stored. In the post-war years it was from here that timber was floated down the Drwęca River to sawmills in Brodnica, Golub-Dobrzyń and Toruń. The early medieval stronghold was situated at the confluence of Brynica and Drwęca rivers. It is worth stopping here for a longer while to enjoy the beautiful view and observe the numerous water birds living here.
