In the village of Złotowo you will find traces of history dating back over 4000 years. A tomb discovered here in 1959, commonly called a barrow, is dated to the younger Stone Age (Neolithic). It was probably built by the people of the globular amphorae (the name comes from the typical form of making vessels for these people). During their research, archaeologists came across the remains of three people. Fragments of everyday objects were also found. Investigations have shown that in the centre of the barrow was a burial chamber constructed of large, partially worked boulders. It was about 6 m long, about 1.2 m wide, and the height of individual boulders reached 1.1 m. And although today the barrow is only partly preserved, it is worth visiting a monument older than the Biskupin excavations.
