An island in the city centre? There it is! Łabiszyn Island is a green area with a reconstructed park from the 19th century in the type of an English landscape park, which flows around the Noteć River and the Noteć Canal. In high season, there is a marina where you can rent water equipment. There is also a bicycle rental service. And that sounds like a good plan for an active holiday. First, a short, about 12-kilometre cycling trip to Barcin (you can visit the Lubostroń Palace on the way), and there change to the water and return to Łabiszyn by kayak among the picturesque meadows of the Noteć River. The Island also contains the castle cellars, which were once the base of the fortified castle.
